Key Responsibilities
Volunteer Editors will collaborate remotely or with the editorial team to ensure the timely and high-quality publication of scholarly articles. Responsibilities include reviewing manuscripts within their expertise, assessing scientific quality, relevance, originality, and adherence to journal guidelines. Editors will recommend appropriate reviewers, assist with the peer-review process, and provide constructive feedback to authors. They will also check manuscripts for clarity, structure, references, and compliance with journal requirements. Additional duties involve supporting the evaluation of revised manuscripts, suggesting improvements for journal content and visibility, and promoting journal activities such as special issues and calls for papers.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold a relevant PhD or possess equivalent research experience, along with a solid publication record in their field. Familiarity with academic peer review and scholarly publishing is essential. Strong written English and communication skills are required, as is a willingness to volunteer time to the editorial process. Applicants must demonstrate professional integrity and a commitment to responsible research and publication ethics.
