Education Consultant – Sales & Admissions

The Education Consultant – Sales & Admissions role focuses on counseling students about global study opportunities, managing admissions processes, engaging clients, and driving consultative sales to help students achieve their academic and career goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents on suitable international study destinations, universities, and programs, clearly explaining admission requirements, study pathways, and Times Consultant services.
- Assess students’ academic backgrounds, career aspirations, preferences, and financial considerations to recommend appropriate study options.
- Manage prospective student inquiries from various sources including digital platforms, walk-ins, referrals, seminars, education fairs, and school visits, while representing the company professionally at events and exhibitions.
- Conduct outbound calls and maintain proactive engagement with prospective students.
- Ensure consistent and professional follow-up with interested students, re-engaging those who have not yet proceeded and updating inquiry records regularly.
- Address student and parent concerns and objections with professionalism and empathy.
- Convert qualified inquiries into successful enrollments through effective counseling, persuasion, and follow-up, contributing to business growth.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with students and parents to encourage referrals and positive experiences.
- Maintain accurate counseling, communication, and follow-up records within the CRM system.
- Coordinate closely with the Admissions team once students proceed with university applications.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal and client-engagement abilities.
- Proven persuasion and influencing skills, with confidence in handling questions and objections professionally.
- Comfortable initiating conversations, making outbound calls, and conducting professional follow-ups.
- Ability to understand client needs and recommend suitable solutions.
- Strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and a proactive work approach.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Digital literacy, including proficiency with CRM and other digital tools.
- Previous experience in education counseling, admissions, sales, business development, customer relations, or other client-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory. Prior international education experience is an advantage.
