The consultant will evaluate student profiles, identify suitable scholarship and academic opportunities, interpret eligibility criteria, and offer tailored counseling based on each student’s academic background and future goals. - Counsel students interested in research-based Master’s, MPhil, and PhD programs by evaluating their research experience and academic interests.
- Identify suitable universities, departments, and faculty members aligned with students’ research goals.
- Advise on research program admission requirements, proposal expectations, and strategies for contacting supervisors.
- Explore funded PhD opportunities, studentships, assistantships, and other research-related funding.
- Provide responsible and realistic counseling without guaranteeing scholarship or admission outcomes.
- Maintain detailed records of student profiles, counseling sessions, and researched opportunities using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with the Admissions team and other consultants to support students progressing with applications or exploring alternative options.
- Uphold professional and ethical counseling standards while continuously updating knowledge of scholarships and research programs.

- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent research abilities, including proficiency in online academic research and organizing large volumes of information.
- Ability to interpret detailed scholarship and university admission criteria.
- Competence in objectively assessing academic profiles and matching them with appropriate opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal and student counseling skills.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Knowledge of international scholarships and research-based admissions is advantageous.
- Personal experience applying for international scholarships or research programs is highly desirable.
- Experience communicating with academic supervisors or involvement in academic publications or conferences is a plus.
- Fresh MS/MPhil graduates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- The role is based in Abbottabad and requires in-person attendance.
- Monthly salary ranges from Rs60,000 to Rs80,000.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in academic research and international education, a willingness to continuously learn about new scholarships and research opportunities, and the patience to conduct detailed independent research. They should be able to communicate complex academic information clearly and realistically, manage multiple student profiles and deadlines effectively, and provide individualized counseling with professionalism and empathy.
