The Educational Counselor role is a full-time, on-site position based at the UKEC Pakistan office in Lahore. The counselor will provide personalized guidance to prospective students interested in studying across Europe. This includes advising on suitable courses, universities, and pathway programs, as well as supporting students throughout the application process by assisting with documentation and managing timelines. The role requires close coordination with internal teams and European partner institutions to ensure the delivery of accurate and current information. Daily responsibilities involve conducting information sessions, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions, and maintaining detailed records using CRM or other management systems. The counselor will also facilitate pre-departure briefings, provide ongoing follow-up support, and actively participate in educational events such as fairs, workshops, and seminars.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide one-to-one educational counseling focused on European study pathways, helping students select appropriate courses and institutions.
- Guide students through the application process, including preparation of documents and adherence to deadlines.
- Conduct information sessions and respond promptly to inquiries through various communication channels.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in CRM or other relevant systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams and partner institutions to ensure consistent and reliable information flow.
- Assist with pre-departure briefings and offer post-application support to students.
- Represent UKEC at education fairs, workshops, and seminars to promote study opportunities and engage with prospective students.

Required Qualifications

- Proven ability to provide effective educational consulting and guidance on European higher education pathways.
- Strong student counseling skills, including personalized advisory sessions and comprehensive support throughout the application journey.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with students, families, and partner organizations.
- Understanding of European education systems, admission requirements, and study routes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Business, Social Sciences, or a related discipline; a master’s degree is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.
- Proficiency in digital tools, CRM systems, and office software for case tracking and communication.
- Professional, inclusive, and student-centered approach, committed to ethical and non-discriminatory counseling practices.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience or interest in career counseling to help students align their educational choices with long-term career objectives.
- Prior experience in educational consulting, international student recruitment, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
