This role is focused on providing expert guidance and support in Environment and Industrial Hygiene (IH) management to ensure consistent Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices across Engro’s Business Units (BUs). The position requires maintaining alignment with international standards and regulatory requirements, identifying environmental and occupational health hazards, and implementing robust management systems to mitigate risks. The incumbent will also play a key role in auditing, performance monitoring, sustainability reporting, and ensuring the effective use of management information systems to support continuous improvement in environmental and industrial hygiene performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and analyze Engro-wide environmental and IH/OH performance data, including non-compliance incidents, personal exposure levels to toxic chemicals, noise, dust, radiation, and occupational health monitoring results. Report these as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage the VelocityEHS Management Information System (MIS) platform, ensuring proper utilization by BUs, troubleshooting issues with IT support, and highlighting areas of concern.
- Prepare annual budgets and capital expenditure proposals for Group HSE activities, monitor expenses to prevent overruns, and ensure timely implementation of approved capex.
- Assist in the preparation of Engro’s annual Sustainability Report in collaboration with the Corporate Sustainability team. Develop data collection frameworks, coordinate with BUs to gather and verify sustainability data, and ensure alignment with global reporting frameworks such as IFRS, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), World Economic Forum (WEF) Stakeholder Capitalism Metrics, and climate risk disclosures including TCFD recommendations.

Required Qualifications
