Electrical Automation Maintenance Engineer

We are currently seeking an Electrical Automation Maintenance Engineer to join our Electrical & Automation Maintenance team at our manufacturing plant in Faisalabad. This role is critical to ensuring the reliable operation of the plant’s electrical and automation systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting control systems, managing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and leading the technician team to minimize machine downtime.

Key Responsibilities
- Program and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems, drives, and electrical equipment on production machinery.
- Plan and manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities using SAP, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical faults before they lead to breakdowns, implementing permanent solutions for recurring issues.
- Analyze failure patterns, maintain defect tracking records, and report findings with improvement recommendations to management.
- Supervise and support the daily work of technicians, review checklists, and contribute to their technical development.
- Read, develop, and update electrical project drawings; redesign system plans as needed.
- Monitor spare parts inventory, coordinate procurement, and manage outsourced maintenance services.
- Prepare technical specifications for electrical and electronic components related to investment projects and new equipment.
- Test electrical power and connections for newly installed machinery.
- Oversee internal and external lighting systems as well as fire control systems within the plant.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 4 to 8 years of experience in electrical and automation maintenance, preferably within a multinational FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens S7-400 and Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Proficiency with brushless motors and drives, including Simotion and Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000.
- Working knowledge of SAP or CMMS for maintenance management.
- Strong English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical is considered an advantage.
