Electrical Design & Development (Female)

A reputable construction company is seeking a skilled Electrical Design & Development professional to join their team at the Head Office located on Karsaz Road, Karachi. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing detailed electrical drawings and documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support project execution. This position requires hands-on experience in electrical design within the construction sector and a strong commitment to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate shop drawings and as-built drawings for electrical systems.
- Develop and maintain electrical measurement sheets to support project requirements.
- Perform quantity take-offs and create related spreadsheets for material estimation and tracking.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and company practices.
- Coordinate effectively with other disciplines to ensure seamless design integration.
- Maintain organized documentation, including drawing revisions and archives, to support project records.
- Adhere strictly to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) standards throughout all operations.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor to support project goals.

Required Qualifications:
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) or Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Electrical Design & Development, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction methodologies.
- Familiarity with both local and international electrical codes and standards.
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD, along with other relevant drafting tools.
