We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of electrical design and installation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating comprehensive electrical designs, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and overseeing the quality and progress of electrical works on site. This role requires close collaboration with multiple disciplines to resolve technical challenges and ensure timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, review, and coordinate electrical designs, including single line diagrams (SLDs), load schedules, power and lighting layouts, cable schedules, earthing, lightning protection, and other electrical systems.

- Perform and verify electrical load calculations, cable sizing, voltage-drop calculations, equipment sizing, and other relevant engineering computations to ensure system integrity and compliance.

- Coordinate electrical design and execution with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and other project disciplines to resolve technical issues and avoid site conflicts.

- Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, technical submissions, and samples. Facilitate coordination and approvals with consultants and clients in accordance with project specifications and design requirements.

- Conduct regular inspections of electrical works to identify deficiencies and non-conformities. Recommend corrective actions to site teams and ensure adherence to approved quality standards.

- Review electrical material requirements, bills of quantities (BOQs), and technical specifications. Collaborate with the Procurement Department to ensure timely availability and compliance of materials and equipment.

- Develop plans for testing, commissioning, and energization of electrical systems. Ensure all systems are properly tested, fully operational, and ready for project handover.

- Monitor progress, manpower, resources, and subcontractor performance related to electrical works. Identify potential delays or technical risks and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and management team.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electrical drawings, inspection records, testing reports, requests for information (RFIs), approvals, and as-built documentation to ensure complete and timely handover of electrical systems upon project completion.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.

- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in electrical design and project execution.

- The position requires in-person work at the project site.

- Competitive salary starting from Rs 200,000 per month.
