Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical activities across multiple ongoing projects and group operations. This role involves managing electrical installations from site setups to plant and office environments, ensuring all systems are installed, tested, and maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage electrical installations on all active projects, including low voltage (LV) distribution, distribution boards (DBs), cabling, earthing, lighting, and power systems.
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of high tension/low tension (HT/LT) panels, transformers, generators, automatic transfer switches (ATS), and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
- Oversee solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, extra-low voltage (ELV) systems such as fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and building automation works.
- Review electrical drawings, perform load calculations, and evaluate material submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Lead and coordinate electrical supervisors, electricians, and subcontractors across various sites to maintain quality and schedule adherence.
- Plan and execute maintenance activities for group electrical assets, including site power systems, generators, and chemical plant equipment.
- Liaise with utility providers such as WAPDA, IESCO, and PESCO for new electrical connections and necessary approvals.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations, codes, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with valid PEC registration.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in electrical engineering roles related to building or industrial projects.
- Practical experience working with electrical panels, transformers, generators, and conducting testing and commissioning activities.
- Proficient in reading and verifying electrical drawings, with working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Willingness to travel and visit project sites across Pakistan as required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with solar PV systems and ELV installations is considered an advantage.
- Competitive monthly salary range of Rs75,000 to Rs90,000.
- This position requires physical presence at work locations.
