We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee and manage electrical maintenance activities within our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliable operation of electrical systems, production machinery, and equipment while minimizing downtime through effective troubleshooting and maintenance strategies. This role requires close coordination with production and maintenance teams to maintain smooth plant operations and uphold safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise all electrical maintenance activities across the plant to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure the reliable operation of electrical systems, production machinery, and equipment by promptly addressing issues.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently to minimize machinery breakdowns and reduce production downtime.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans to enhance equipment reliability.
- Monitor and maintain HT/LT panels, MCCs, transformers, generators, motors, VFDs, PLCs, control panels, and electrical distribution systems.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure seamless plant operations.
- Analyze recurring electrical breakdowns and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain accurate electrical maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and applicable workplace safety standards.
- Supervise electricians and technical staff, providing guidance on electrical troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
- Assist in electrical projects, including machinery installation, commissioning, and modification work.
- Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities to improve electrical efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Sc./B.E.) from a recognized university.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of industrial electrical systems and machinery.
- Experience working with PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, control panels, motors, transformers, and industrial automation.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong team management and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance strategies and industrial safety practices.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns as needed.
