The Electrical Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of the organization's electrical systems and equipment. This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing various electrical components while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, the technician supports the overall maintenance team by troubleshooting faults, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting in new system installations to maintain operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment, including power distribution systems, lighting, control systems, and motors.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment and troubleshooting methods.
- Repair or replace defective components to restore proper system functionality.
- Follow all safety protocols and comply with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations during all work activities.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance and repair tasks performed.
- Report issues, failures, and suggest improvements to the Electrical Engineer or Maintenance Manager.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to promote coordinated and efficient operations.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment.
- Recommend enhancements to improve the reliability and performance of electrical infrastructure.
- Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements related to electrical maintenance and repair.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar electrical maintenance role.
- Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and components.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards governing electrical systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
