Electrician - Contract (Multan)

We are seeking a skilled Electrician on a contract basis to join our team in Multan. Reporting directly to the Electrical Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting various electrical systems and equipment. This role requires hands-on expertise in handling wiring, lighting, panels, switches, and other electrical components, ensuring all work complies with company standards and safety regulations. The position involves working on-site and may require shift work or extended hours as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring, lighting, panels, switches, and equipment in accordance with project requirements.
- Execute electrical tasks based on drawings, plans, and established company procedures.
- Perform pre-commissioning activities and assist in testing and commissioning electrical systems.
- Inspect electrical installations and promptly replace or repair faulty wiring, cables, and components.
- Prepare material and tool demand requests to support ongoing electrical work.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and applicable electrical standards.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately.
- Carry out additional electrical duties as assigned by the Electrical Supervisor.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical or a relevant electrical diploma/certification.
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent practical training.
- Valid electrician license or certification, where applicable.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience working as an Electrician.
- Experience with industrial and/or commercial electrical systems is preferred.

Skills and Competencies

- Proficient in the use of electrical and hand tools, including multimeters and voltmeters.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints with precision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a strong focus on safety.
- Physically fit and capable of working shifts or extended hours when required.

Work Location

This role requires the candidate to work on-site in Multan.
