Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in Karachi on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment within a healthcare environment. This role requires hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring the safety and functionality of various electrical devices and controls. The position involves working in rotational shifts and requires the candidate to be present on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all electrical maintenance tasks, including the repair and replacement of electrical circuits, appliances, systems, facilities, and related controls and devices. Ensure that lighting systems, fans, searchlights, and signboards are fully operational and install new electrical points as needed.
- Manage and resolve issues related to biometric locks and pass box complaints. Oversee the operation and troubleshooting of fire alarm panels and safety alarms within the laboratory. Address electrical control and power problems related to HVAC systems. Monitor electrical loads on distribution boards (DBs) and breakers to prevent overloads and conduct regular testing of earth pits to maintain safety standards.
- Maintain daily logs and reports, including recommendations for electrical requirements. Coordinate with management to address complaints and requests for electrical materials. Work closely with the Head of Department and perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or department heads.

Required Qualifications:
- Matriculation certificate.
- Electrician Diploma.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Ability to work on rotational shifts.
- Location: Must be based in Karachi.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Possession of a Wireman License is preferred.
