Electrician & Plumber

Hamsun Hospitality is seeking a skilled Electrician & Plumber to join the Maintenance and Operations team. This role involves performing electrical and plumbing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting across various branches and the head office. The successful candidate will ensure that all facilities and equipment remain safe, functional, and well-maintained, contributing to the smooth operation of the organization’s properties.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Work:
- Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, switches, sockets, lights, fans, and circuit breakers.
- Identify and resolve electrical faults safely and efficiently.
- Perform basic electrical installation and replacement tasks.
- Check electrical equipment and report major faults that require specialist intervention.

Plumbing Work:
- Repair leaking taps, pipes, showers, flush systems, and drainage issues.
- Maintain washrooms, kitchens, water supply lines, and drainage systems.
- Fix blockages and replace faulty plumbing fittings.
- Detect water leakage and implement preventive measures to avoid damage.

General Maintenance:
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical and plumbing systems to ensure optimal functioning.
- Respond promptly to maintenance complaints from different branches.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, materials used, and pending maintenance tasks.
- Communicate with the supervisor regarding the need for tools, spare parts, and major repair costs.
- Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications
- Matriculation or relevant technical/vocational training is preferred.
- Practical experience in both electrical and plumbing work is essential.
- Ability to independently identify faults and carry out repairs.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and basic plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment.
- Responsible, punctual, hardworking, and willing to travel between branches as needed.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical and plumbing maintenance is preferred.

The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs45,000 to Rs50,000. The role requires in-person attendance at Hamsun Hospitality branches or the head office, with travel between locations as necessary.
