ELECTRICIAN- REPAIR & MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting electrical faults, inspecting electrical panels, and responding promptly to breakdowns or emergencies. A strong commitment to safety procedures and accurate maintenance record-keeping is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work across various electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults involving wiring, lighting, fans, sockets, and circuit breakers.
- Inspect and maintain electrical panels and distribution systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct both preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Respond swiftly to electrical breakdowns and emergency situations to restore service.
- Adhere strictly to electrical safety protocols and maintain detailed maintenance records for all activities.

Required Qualifications:
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical Technology.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in electrical fault finding and troubleshooting techniques.
- Solid knowledge of wiring systems, distribution boards, and circuit breakers.
- Ability to read and interpret basic electrical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with electrical tools and testing equipment.
- Strong awareness of electrical safety standards and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
