Elevator Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Elevator Supervisor to oversee the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of elevators within the university premises. The successful candidate will ensure that all elevators function safely, efficiently, and without interruption, supporting the smooth daily operations of the institution. This role requires hands-on supervision of elevator technicians, timely management of maintenance schedules, and prompt response to any technical issues or emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the daily operation and maintenance of all elevators installed at the university.
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are completed on schedule.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults and oversee the necessary repair work.
- Guide and allocate tasks to elevator technicians to maintain productivity and quality.
- Maintain safe, reliable, and continuous elevator operation at all times.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and technical problems.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, inspections, and repairs.
- Manage the proper use of spare parts, tools, equipment, and other resources.
- Monitor elevator performance and report any maintenance or operational concerns to management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the competent authority.

Required Qualifications

- A relevant diploma, technical certification, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics (DAE) Engineering/Technology.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience in elevator operations, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong technical knowledge of elevator electrical, mechanical, and electronic control systems.
- Proven ability to diagnose faults and either carry out or supervise repair and maintenance tasks effectively.
