Key Responsibilities

- Verify patients’ insurance eligibility and benefits with US insurance providers.
- Confirm coverage details including deductibles, co-payments, co-insurance, and out-of-pocket expenses.
- Contact insurance companies directly to verify patient coverage and benefits.
- Accurately update patient insurance information in the billing system.
- Collaborate with billing and accounts receivable departments to resolve eligibility-related issues.
- Maintain precise records and ensure timely verification of patient benefits to support billing processes.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 6 months relevant experience in US medical billing or insurance eligibility verification is preferred.
- Basic understanding of US health insurance plans and benefits.
- Strong communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with computer-based billing systems.

Work Location
