Embedded Engineer C++ Java Experience

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in C++ and Java Spring Boot to design, develop, and maintain production-grade software deployed in real-world product environments. The role primarily focuses on C++ development involving on-device software, native components, SDKs, system-level functionality, and performance-critical logic. Java Spring Boot will be used for backend services, APIs, business logic, and platform integrations. Experience with TypeScript and React for frontend development is also important. The ideal candidate will independently own complex technical challenges, thoroughly understand and debug existing codebases, and deliver high-quality, maintainable software. While AI tools may assist in development, they are not a replacement for solid engineering fundamentals and technical judgment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain software using C++ and Java Spring Boot.
- Build and enhance on-device software, native modules, SDKs, integrations, and performance-sensitive components primarily in C++.
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, business logic, and platform integrations using Java Spring Boot.
- Contribute to frontend features and integrations using TypeScript and React.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues across device, application, backend, frontend, and integration layers.
- Independently read, comprehend, modify, and improve existing codebases.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code while actively participating in code reviews.
- Develop and maintain automated tests where appropriate.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, releases, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
- Take ownership of complex technical problems and drive them through to resolution.

Required Qualifications

- Senior-level professional experience with C++.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot for backend development.
- Experience with on-device, embedded, native, SDK, or system-level software development.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React for frontend development.
- Experience developing backend services, REST APIs, middleware, or platform-level systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Ability to independently understand and debug complex codebases, using AI tools as an assistant rather than a replacement for engineering expertise.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Skills in optimizing software for performance, memory utilization, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Experience

Candidates should have a minimum of 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
