We are seeking a skilled Embroidery Digitizer based in Lahore to transform artwork, sketches, motifs, and design references into precise embroidery digitized files. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of garment construction to create and modify embroidery designs that align perfectly with various garment measurements and design specifications. This role requires collaboration with multiple teams to ensure the highest quality output, from initial sampling to final production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert artwork and design references into accurate embroidery digitized files tailored to garment specifics such as measurements, placements, panels, necklines, sleeves, and borders.
- Prepare embroidery files compatible with different techniques, fabric types, and garment categories.
- Set appropriate stitch types, stitch density, underlay, pull compensation, sequencing, trims, and color changes to optimize design execution.
- Conduct embroidery sampling, analyze results, and make necessary corrections to improve quality.
- Collaborate closely with designers, pattern makers, embroidery operators, and production teams to ensure designs are executed accurately.
- Resize, edit, and adapt existing embroidery files while maintaining design integrity and quality.
- Identify and troubleshoot production issues such as puckering, thread breaks, registration errors, gaps, and excessive stitch buildup.
- Maintain an organized digital library of embroidery files, including versions and approved designs for easy access and reference.
- Ensure all designs are technically efficient for production without compromising the aesthetic and finish required.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting all sampling and production deadlines consistently.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in embroidery digitizing with a strong portfolio demonstrating accuracy and creativity.
- Proficiency in embroidery digitizing software and tools.
- Solid understanding of garment construction and fabric behavior related to embroidery.
- Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues during the embroidery production process.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain digital archives and version control.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience working in a production environment with knowledge of various embroidery techniques and garment types is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with different embroidery machines and their capabilities will be an advantage.
- Competitive daily pay ranging from Rs50,000 to Rs100,000.
