Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Hire, lead, and mentor engineering teams responsible for developing the Zones Digital Platform.
- Collaborate closely with product management to understand and prioritize technical requirements.
- Propose, validate, and oversee software architecture designs, implementation strategies, and engineering roadmaps.
- Manage and develop engineering leaders and architects to enhance their skills, effectiveness, and career growth.
- Foster a culture of innovation within the engineering organization.
- Work with software architects, product managers, executives, and customers to ensure timely delivery of complex technology solutions.

Required Qualifications
- Over 10 years of progressive engineering experience with a focus on complex enterprise software development and management.
- At least 5 years of experience leading large, geographically distributed engineering teams.
- Proven expertise in building large-scale B2B and B2C software products.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Hands-on technical proficiency in one or more of the following: C/C++, PHP, Python, Rust, Go, React, Angular, JavaScript, AWS, Azure, RESTful API, GraphQL.
- Strong ability to review and critique engineering designs and architectural decisions.
- Demonstrated success in hiring top talent, inspiring teams, and developing future leaders.
- Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with a deep understanding of software engineering best practices.
- Excellent executive presence and ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
