Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop our engineering team, driving the successful execution of projects and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will oversee engineering operations, coordinate cross-functional activities, and promote a culture of innovation and safety. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and mentor the engineering team to meet both departmental and organizational goals. Plan, execute, and monitor engineering projects, ensuring adherence to approved schedules and budgets. Oversee daily engineering operations, technical processes, and equipment performance to maintain high standards.

Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, procurement, quality, and other departments to align objectives and streamline workflows. Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and enhanced operational efficiency.

Manage resource allocation, project priorities, and workforce planning to optimize team performance. Review technical designs, specifications, reports, and project documentation for accuracy and completeness. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular progress and performance reports for senior management.

Supervise contractors, suppliers, and external technical partners as needed. Troubleshoot complex engineering challenges and implement effective corrective actions promptly. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, innovation, and workplace safety throughout the engineering function.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant engineering experience, including 2 to 3 years in a leadership or management capacity. Proven project management, planning, and organizational skills.

Demonstrated success in managing engineering teams and delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively guide and motivate teams.

Proficiency in relevant engineering software, reporting tools, and project management systems. Solid knowledge of applicable industry standards, quality requirements, and health and safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Experience in budget management and cost optimization is highly desirable. Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies will be an advantage. Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills are preferred.

Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. We offer a competitive salary range of Rs90,000 to Rs120,000 per month, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
