Key Responsibilities
- Present live and recorded news bulletins with clarity and confidence.
- Introduce news segments and conduct interviews with guests and subject matter experts.
- Collaborate closely with producers, reporters, and editorial staff to review scripts and refine story angles.
- Prepare thoroughly for broadcasts by researching current events and rehearsing scripts.
- Respond to breaking news promptly and maintain composure during live situations.
- Uphold editorial guidelines and ensure accuracy and impartiality in all on-air content.
- Maintain a strong on-air presence through effective voice control and camera engagement.
- Contribute ideas to improve programming and enhance audience engagement.

Required Qualifications
- Proven broadcast journalism skills, including experience in reporting and broadcasting for television or digital platforms.
- Proficiency in news writing and script development, with the ability to simplify complex information into engaging language.
- Demonstrated presenter abilities, including confident on-air delivery and strong voice control.
- Formal education or training in Broadcast Journalism, Media Studies, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, with strong articulation and understanding of both local and global current affairs.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and maintain professionalism in live broadcast situations.
- Familiarity with newsroom workflows, teleprompter operation, studio procedures, and basic production processes.
