EMS High School is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and creative English Teacher to join our Middle School team, specifically for Grade 5. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, including grammar, literature, reading, and writing. This role requires an educator who can design and deliver engaging, interactive, and student-centered lessons that foster communication, comprehension, creative writing, and critical-thinking skills. The successful candidate will be committed to creating a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment while utilizing modern teaching strategies and technology to enhance student learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic English lessons tailored to middle school students.
- Manage the classroom effectively to maintain a focused and supportive learning atmosphere.
- Develop students’ communication, comprehension, creative writing, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Incorporate modern teaching methods and educational technology to enrich the learning experience.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture.
- Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with students and parents.
- Maintain professionalism, organization, and a strong commitment to students’ overall development.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, English Literature, Education, or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience at the middle school level, preferably 2–3 years.
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
