Enterprise Architect

Ciklum is seeking a full-time Enterprise Architect to join its team in Pakistan. As a custom product engineering company, Ciklum supports multinational organizations and scaling startups by solving complex business challenges. With a global team of over 4,000 skilled professionals, the company delivers innovative technology solutions that transform industries and improve lives. In this role, you will work within a cross-functional development team on projects for the world’s largest professional services network, providing audit, tax, consulting, enterprise risk, and financial advisory services globally.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage key business stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives.
- Gather and analyze primary software functionality, quality attributes, and constraints.
- Develop and map business, information, and technology architectures.
- Define architecture vision that meets critical requirements through trade-off analysis, proof of concepts, and benchmarking.
- Establish and manage architecture design and documentation processes.
- Document and communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs to major stakeholders.
- Review and validate design decisions to ensure alignment with the overall solution architecture vision.

Required Qualifications
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Over 7 years of commercial experience in software development.
- More than 3 years of experience in solution architecture design.
- Strong knowledge of data management, integration, and transformation techniques.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and their rationale.
- Experience guiding software development, testing, deployment, and project management activities.
- Solid foundation in computer science concepts including architectural and design patterns, algorithms, paradigms, database theory, and code testing practices.
- Practical experience with microservices architecture and cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure (Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Databricks, Azure Service Bus).
- Proficiency with database management systems such as Microsoft SQL and MongoDB.
- Experience with .NET Core 3 framework.
- Strong business skills including client-facing communication, business consulting, and the ability to explain and justify design decisions.
- Ability to influence senior client stakeholders and build lasting relationships with business and technical teams.
- Experience leading medium to large solution delivery projects and analyzing business, product, and technology requirements.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Certifications in architecture frameworks (e.g., SEI, TOGAF), cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure), and delivery methodologies (SAFe, Agile).
- Experience with release and configuration management tools, infrastructure-as-code solutions, and pre-sales or proposal preparation.
- Familiarity with Databricks is advantageous.
