Enterprise Architect

Ciklum is seeking a full-time Enterprise Architect to join our team in Pakistan. As a custom product engineering company, we support multinational organizations and scaling startups in solving complex business challenges. With a global team of over 4,000 skilled professionals, we deliver technology solutions that redefine industries and improve lives. In this role, you will work with a cross-functional development team on projects for the world’s largest professional services network, providing audit, tax, consulting, enterprise risk, and financial advisory services globally.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and align business goals and objectives with architectural solutions.
- Gather and analyze primary functionality, software quality characteristics, and constraints.
- Develop and map business, information, and technology architectures.
- Define architecture vision that meets significant requirements through trade-off analysis, proof of concepts, and benchmarking.
- Establish and manage architecture design and documentation processes.
- Document and communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs to key stakeholders.
- Review and validate design decisions to ensure alignment with the overall solution architecture vision.

Required Qualifications:
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Over 7 years of commercial software development experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in solution architecture design.
- Proficiency in data management, integration, and transformation techniques.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC processes and their rationale.
- Experience guiding software development, testing, deployment, and project management activities.
- Solid foundation in computer science and computing theory, including architectural and design patterns, algorithms, paradigms, principles, database theory, and code testing practices.
- Practical experience with microservices architecture and Microsoft Azure cloud technologies such as Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Databricks, and Azure Service Bus.
- Familiarity with DBMS including Microsoft SQL and MongoDB.
- Experience with .NET Core 3 framework.
- Excellent client-facing, business consulting, and communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions clearly and influence senior client stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build long-term relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience leading and supporting medium to large solution delivery projects and analyzing business, product, and technology requirements.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Certifications in architecture frameworks (e.g., SEI, TOGAF), cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure), and delivery methodologies (SAFe, Agile) are highly desirable.
- Experience with release and configuration management tools, infrastructure as code, and pre-sales or proposal preparation is a plus.
- Knowledge of Databricks is an advantage.
