Enumerators for Endline Survey

The Enumerator position is a short-term opportunity lasting seven days, focused on conducting field surveys and collecting accurate data for the Endline Assessment in Tehsil Chillas, District Diamer. This role involves engaging directly with households to gather information, ensuring data integrity through careful recording and entry, and working under potentially challenging field conditions. Official transport will be provided to support field activities. Candidates with proficiency in the Shina language and those local to the area will be given preference. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct household surveys and interviews within the designated project areas of Tehsil Chillas for the Endline Assessment.
- Accurately record data using paper-based forms or digital tools if provided.
- Enter collected data into the assigned system or database promptly and accurately.
- Review and cross-check data to ensure completeness and correctness.
- Submit daily progress reports to the Field Supervisor.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines throughout the data collection process.
- Properly identify respondents from the baseline sample and document any attrition or replacement households according to established protocols.
- Immediately report any data quality concerns or field challenges to the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum education level of Intermediate; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Prior experience in data collection or fieldwork is advantageous, especially experience related to baseline or similar surveys.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Urdu is required; knowledge of Shina language is preferred.
- Familiarity with data entry, particularly using Excel, is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with respondents.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining data quality and ethical standards.
