Our client, a fast-growing e-commerce platform based in Multan, is looking to hire an experienced Equity Analyst to join their onsite team. This role centers on investment analysis within the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) as well as international financial markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring market trends, performing both technical and fundamental analyses, and identifying investment opportunities across multiple asset classes, including equities and digital assets. This position is vital in supporting strategic investment decisions through thorough research and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth technical and fundamental analysis of listed companies.
- Monitor daily market movements on the Pakistan Stock Exchange and global financial markets.
- Identify promising investment opportunities by analyzing market data and emerging trends.
- Track and evaluate investment portfolio performance and asset allocation.
- Maintain detailed reports on returns, risk exposure, and other key performance indicators.
- Stay updated on sector developments and macroeconomic factors affecting market conditions.
- Analyze multiple asset classes such as equities, commodities, and digital assets.
- Assess the impact of global financial news on investment strategies.
- Provide research insights and market outlooks to support management’s investment decisions.
- Prepare structured reports highlighting investment opportunities and associated risks.
- Compile weekly and monthly market analysis reports and maintain organized documentation of research and portfolio data.
- Monitor company earnings announcements and financial updates relevant to investment decisions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in financial markets, trading, or equity research.
- Strong understanding of Pakistan Stock Exchange operations and market dynamics.
- Proficient in technical indicators and financial analysis tools with excellent analytical and research skills.
- Expertise in trading and execution, including order flow and market depth analysis.
- Experience using advanced order types such as limit and iceberg orders to optimize trade execution.
- Ability to trade effectively during periods of high volatility and fast-moving markets.
- Demonstrated discipline, emotional control, and focus during extended trading sessions.
- Proven track record of executing high-volume trades across multiple financial instruments while minimizing market impact.
- Consistent participation in active markets with strong liquidity contribution.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience with national and international equity markets, commodities trading, or digital asset markets is advantageous.
- The work schedule is Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, based onsite in Multan with a morning shift requirement.
