We are seeking an experienced ESLint Developer to join our onsite team. The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience and hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. This role focuses on ensuring code quality, consistency, maintainability, and performance across large-scale JavaScript and TypeScript codebases. The primary responsibility will be to develop custom ESLint rules and plugins, enforce coding standards, and support scalable front-end engineering efforts, particularly within large-scale e-commerce applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and maintain ESLint rules and configurations tailored to project needs.
- Build custom ESLint rules and plugins aligned with development and coding standards.
- Define and enforce coding standards across JavaScript and TypeScript applications to ensure high-quality code.
- Identify and address issues related to code quality, consistency, maintainability, and performance.
- Create and maintain reusable ESLint configurations that can be shared across multiple projects.
- Integrate ESLint and automated code-quality checks into CI/CD pipelines to streamline development workflows.
- Optimize linting processes for large codebases and monorepos to improve efficiency.
- Troubleshoot issues related to ESLint configurations, parsers, plugins, and dependencies.
- Support ESLint upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvements to keep tooling up to date.
- Collaborate closely with front-end development teams to enhance overall development practices and code-quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with ESLint, including developing custom rules and plugins.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a solid understanding of their ecosystems.
- Good knowledge of Abstract Syntax Trees (AST) and static code analysis techniques.
- Experience working with modern front-end frameworks, preferably React.js.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and package managers like npm, Yarn, or pnpm.
- Proven experience integrating code-quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to work with large-scale JavaScript and TypeScript codebases effectively.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Knowledge of Next.js and Node.js frameworks.
- Familiarity with monorepo tools such as Nx or Turborepo.
