The Estimation and Design Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Faisalabad. This role is responsible for preparing detailed technical and commercial estimates related to LV switchgear and control components. The officer will analyze project requirements, review technical drawings and specifications, and calculate material and labor costs accurately. Additionally, the role involves designing switchgear and control panel layouts, selecting suitable components, and ensuring all designs comply with relevant standards and customer specifications. Collaboration with sales, purchasing, and technical teams is essential to support quotations, address customer inquiries, and provide technical assistance. The position also requires maintaining documentation, updating cost databases, coordinating with suppliers, and contributing to the continuous improvement of estimation and design processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial estimates for LV switchgear and control components.
- Analyze project requirements and review drawings and specifications to determine accurate material and labor costs.
- Design switchgear and control panel layouts, selecting appropriate components to meet project and customer needs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and quality requirements.
- Collaborate closely with sales, purchasing, and technical teams to support quotation processes and respond to customer inquiries.
- Maintain and update technical documentation and cost databases regularly.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement and availability of components.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimation and design workflows and processes.

Required Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of LV switchgear, control components, and automation systems, including circuit breakers, contactors, relays, and related equipment.
- Proven experience in estimation and design for electrical or industrial projects, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications accurately.
- Proficiency in design and office software such as AutoCAD or similar CAD tools, along with MS Office applications.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in cost calculations and design work.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with sales, technical, and supplier teams, and engage professionally with customers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. Relevant industry experience in switchgear or industrial automation is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of quality and safety standards applicable to electrical equipment, with familiarity of ISO and CE requirements considered an advantage.
