Key Responsibilities
- Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and floor plans to fully understand the scope and requirements of flooring projects.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, sales teams, and clients to gather necessary information and clarify project details.
- Use industry-specific software tools, such as Measure Square, to accurately calculate material quantities needed for each project.
- Assess factors including material type, subfloor condition, installation methods, and other variables to provide precise recommendations and estimates.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of project information, estimates, and communications throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new flooring products, and installation techniques to ensure estimates are current and reliable.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex project specifications and architectural drawings effectively.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Flooring Estimator or in a similar role with expertise in estimating flooring materials and quantities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various flooring types, installation methods, subfloor preparation, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in using flooring estimation software, CAD tools, and other measurement technologies relevant to the industry.
- Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to perform precise calculations and measurements.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and deadlines.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred; however, relevant professional experience will also be considered.
