EV Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Electric Vehicle (EV) Maintenance Technician. The role involves performing basic maintenance and repair tasks on electric bikes, scooters, and other EVs. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of electrical and mechanical systems and a keen interest in developing skills related to EV technology. This position offers hands-on experience in servicing and troubleshooting, with opportunities to work alongside experienced technicians in a workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform basic maintenance and repair on electric bikes, scooters, and other electric vehicles.
- Inspect batteries, wiring, connectors, lights, brakes, and other essential components to ensure proper functioning.
- Assist in diagnosing simple electrical and mechanical faults under supervision.
- Support battery installation, removal, and conduct routine inspections to maintain battery health.
- Check motors, controllers, throttles, and charging systems for any irregularities or issues.
- Carry out routine servicing and preventive maintenance to enhance vehicle reliability.
- Collaborate with senior technicians to troubleshoot and repair more complex problems.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and accurate service records to support efficient workshop operations.
- Adhere strictly to workshop safety procedures, especially when handling electrical components.

Required Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of electric bikes, scooters, EV technology, or conventional bikes.
- Understanding of fundamental electrical and mechanical systems.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in EV repair and troubleshooting.
