Executive Chef

Coffee Planet, a part of the Ludlow Coffee Group and a leading specialty coffee solutions provider in the UAE, is seeking an Executive Chef for its location in Mandi Bahauddin. Established in 2005, Coffee Planet is renowned for sourcing high-quality Arabica beans and roasting them fresh locally. The company supplies premium coffee across the Middle East, serving HORECA, retail, and B2B clients with a comprehensive 360° coffee solution that includes equipment, products, barista training, and machine servicing. The Executive Chef will play a vital role in complementing the company’s specialty coffee offerings by leading kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional food quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and update menus that align with brand standards, focusing on recipe development, consistent taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations, including supervising kitchen staff and managing work schedules.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe and compliant kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with management on food costing, inventory control, and supplier relationships to optimize quality and cost efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professionalism.
- Implement best kitchen practices and support new product launches, promotional activities, and special events.

Required Qualifications
- Strong culinary expertise in menu development, recipe creation, and modern cooking techniques, with a focus on maintaining high quality and consistency.
- Proven experience managing kitchen operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, inventory management, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to control food costs, portion sizes, and waste, with practical knowledge of budgeting and supplier coordination.
- Demonstrated leadership, team-building, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and coach diverse kitchen teams.
- Background in hospitality, restaurants, or cafés, with prior experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef strongly preferred.
- Culinary degree, diploma, or professional certification from a recognized institution is advantageous.
- Willingness to work full-time on-site in Mandi Bahauddin, with flexibility to accommodate operational demands and peak service hours.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
