This role involves designing and leading high-impact facilitation sessions tailored for senior executives and board members. The facilitator will work closely with executive sponsors to clarify objectives and create session flows that drive meaningful outcomes. The position requires managing complex group dynamics in real time and delivering polished, adaptive presentations that engage highly informed and time-constrained audiences. The ideal candidate will be skilled in strategic planning, change management, and leadership development facilitation, ensuring each session is both effective and psychologically safe.
Key Responsibilities
Design and facilitate high-stakes sessions such as strategic offsites, leadership summits, and change-management events for senior executive and board-level audiences. Collaborate with executive sponsors prior to sessions to clarify goals, anticipate sensitive issues, and develop a session flow that achieves the desired results. Create customized facilitation guides, discussion frameworks, and supporting materials suited for senior leaders who have limited time and require concise, impactful content.
Manage complex group dynamics during sessions, including handling conflicts, dominant personalities, and politically sensitive topics, while maintaining focus and psychological safety. Deliver confident, polished, and flexible live facilitation and presentations, adjusting pacing and content dynamically based on audience engagement and unfolding discussions. Facilitate structured sessions using proven frameworks in strategic planning, change management, and leadership development.
Conduct immediate post-session debriefs with executive sponsors to provide clear summaries of outcomes, decisions made, and recommended next steps. Continuously update and refine a personal library of facilitation techniques, exercises, and frameworks to ensure sessions remain fresh, credible, and effective for senior audiences.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 8 years of professional facilitation experience, with significant and verifiable experience working with senior executives, C-suite leaders, or board members. Exceptional executive presence and live communication skills, demonstrating composure and adaptability in high-pressure, unscripted environments. Proven ability to manage difficult group dynamics involving senior stakeholders and to navigate politically sensitive discussions constructively.
Working knowledge of facilitation methodologies related to strategic planning, change management, and leadership development. A bachelor’s degree is required, with a preference for candidates holding an advanced degree in Organizational Development, Business, Communications, Psychology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional facilitation certification such as the International Association of Facilitators (IAF) Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF) or an International Coaching Federation (ICF) coaching credential is highly desirable. Experience in management consulting, executive coaching, or professional speaking/keynote roles is advantageous. Prior facilitation experience in multicultural or multinational executive environments is preferred.
A demonstrated track record of repeat engagements with the same executive sponsors, indicating a strong foundation of trust and credibility built over time.
