The Production Coordinator will oversee and monitor daily production operations to ensure smooth workflow, achievement of production targets, and timely completion of customer orders. This role requires close tracking of production progress, collaboration with various departments to resolve operational challenges, and support for quality compliance, material availability, and dispatch planning. The ideal candidate will contribute to continuous improvement efforts and maintain accurate production records to facilitate effective reporting and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor daily production activities to ensure adherence to production plans, targets, and timelines.
- Conduct regular shop-floor visits to observe production progress, identify issues, and ensure timely completion of scheduled jobs.
- Track actual production performance against planned targets and provide updates on pending, delayed, and completed jobs.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve operational challenges and minimize production delays.
- Identify bottlenecks on the shop floor and support initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Communicate order status updates promptly to relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency regarding order progress and readiness.
- Assist in dispatch planning and follow up to ensure timely delivery of completed orders.
- Monitor rework activities and follow up on corrective actions to address quality issues promptly.
- Identify material shortages and highlight risks that could impact production schedules.
- Participate in production review meetings and follow up on pending operational activities.
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare periodic reports on production progress and performance.
- Identify opportunities to enhance production efficiency, workflow coordination, and resource utilization.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Supply Chain) or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Production Planning, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain operations.
- Proficient in ERP systems such as SAP and skilled in MS Excel for reporting, planning, and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of production planning, inventory control, order processing, and dispatch coordination.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments to ensure smooth operational activities.
- Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and a results-oriented approach.
