The role involves managing end-to-end Non-Telco and Telco activities within assigned geographical grids. The primary focus is to ensure network availability and oversee network operations while adhering to the allocated operational expenditure (OPEX) budget. This includes managing network utilization, addressing maintenance system (MS) related issues, leading field teams to resolve problems efficiently, and continuously improving key performance indicators (KPIs) related to basic network management.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Availability: Monitor the performance of the grid and supervise activities carried out by field teams. Ensure compliance with network KPIs by facilitating timely preventive and corrective maintenance of the access network and generator sets (Gen-sets).
- OPEX Management: Oversee the grid’s operations within the allocated OPEX budget. Implement measures to optimize costs, particularly focusing on electricity consumption and diesel generator (DG) fuel usage.
- Team Management: Support and manage resources including cluster owners, riggers, and fueling teams. Promote their capability and competence development. Collaborate with the regional Field Operations (FOPS) manager and Team Group Leaders (TGLs) to allocate targets and KPIs to field teams on a monthly basis. Evaluate team performance regularly on weekly, monthly, and quarterly intervals.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Preferably 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar operational or technical role.
