Executive SAP MDM

The role focuses on maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and governance of master data within SAP systems to support smooth business operations. The incumbent will ensure high-quality master data management, enabling seamless transactions across various functions. This position involves working closely with multiple departments to uphold data standards and support system improvements, while ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, validate, and maintain master data related to materials, vendors, customers, and assets.
- Ensure data governance by enforcing standardization and adherence to established naming conventions.
- Monitor data quality regularly and perform data cleansing activities to maintain integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain Management, Finance, and Operations to align master data processes.
- Support system enhancements, user acceptance testing (UAT), and master data management (MDM) related changes.
- Maintain thorough documentation, audit trails, and ensure compliance with IT General Controls (ITGC) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and automation efforts to optimize master data processes.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in SAP Master Data Management (MDM/MDG) or SAP functional modules with significant exposure to master data.
- Proficiency in SAP ECC or S/4HANA MDM modules.
- Strong understanding of Material Master, Vendor Master, and Customer Master data structures.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and experience with data quality tools.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data cleansing and classification standards.
- Familiarity with key SAP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Sales & Distribution (SD), Financial Accounting (FI), Plant Maintenance (PM), and Production Planning (PP).
- Understanding of SAP workflows, validation rules, and derivation logic.
