Executive SAP MDM

The role is focused on ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and governance of master data within SAP systems. The successful candidate will support business operations by maintaining high-quality master data, enabling smooth transactions across various functions. This position involves working closely with multiple departments to uphold data standards and support system improvements, ultimately contributing to efficient and compliant business processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, validate, and maintain master data related to materials, vendors, customers, and assets.
- Ensure data governance by enforcing standardization and adherence to established naming conventions.
- Monitor data quality regularly and perform data cleansing activities to maintain integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain Management (SCM), Finance, and Operations to align master data processes.
- Support system enhancements, participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and manage Master Data Management (MDM) related changes.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and audit trails to ensure compliance with IT General Controls (ITGC) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and automation efforts within master data management processes.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in SAP Master Data Management (MDM) or Master Data Governance (MDG), or relevant SAP functional modules with strong exposure to master data.
- Proficiency in SAP ECC or S/4HANA MDM.
- Hands-on experience with Material Master, Vendor Master, and Customer Master data.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and data quality tools.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data cleansing and classification standards.
- Understanding of key SAP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Financial Accounting (FI), Plant Maintenance (PM), and Production Planning (PP).
- Familiarity with workflows, validation rules, and derivation logic within SAP systems.
