Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Support the Head Chef in managing culinary teams and maintaining high standards.
- Supervise food preparation, ensuring consistent quality, presentation, and adherence to recipes.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with regulations.
- Assist in menu development, recipe testing, and cost control initiatives.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor waste to optimize kitchen resources.

Required Qualifications
- Proven expertise in culinary arts, including strong cooking techniques, food preparation, and plating skills.
- Experience in menu planning, recipe development, and maintaining consistent food quality and portion control.
- Proficiency in kitchen management, including staff supervision, scheduling, and training.
- Solid knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and compliance with kitchen health regulations.
- Ability to manage inventory, control food costs, and liaise effectively with suppliers.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills suited to a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar senior kitchen role, preferably within casual fine dining or upscale restaurant settings.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
