Experienced CPC-Certified Medical Coder

Revex Square LLC is seeking a skilled and CPC-certified Medical Coder with expertise in both inpatient and outpatient medical coding for US healthcare providers. The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of medical coding guidelines, clinical documentation, and US healthcare regulations. This role involves reviewing medical records, assigning accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes, and ensuring coding compliance to facilitate clean claims and support an efficient revenue cycle. This is a full-time, office-based position requiring availability to work the night shift. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of coding accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate inpatient and outpatient medical coding based on clinical documentation.
- Review medical records and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
- Apply relevant coding guidelines and ensure compliance with US healthcare regulations.
- Identify coding discrepancies, documentation gaps, and potential compliance issues.
- Collaborate closely with medical billing and revenue cycle management teams to support accurate claim submission.
- Maintain coding quality, productivity, and accuracy standards.
- Protect patient information and adhere strictly to HIPAA privacy requirements.

Required Qualifications
- Active CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification from AAPC.
- Proven experience in US medical coding, including both inpatient and outpatient workflows.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Familiarity with US insurance payer requirements and medical documentation standards.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective time management.
- Willingness and ability to work the night shift on-site at the company’s office.
