Expert Python Engineer

Ciklum is seeking an Expert Python Engineer to join their team full-time in Pakistan. This role involves working on a digital transformation project for a leading global provider of audit, consulting, financial advisory, risk advisory, and tax services. The project focuses on evaluating and modernizing technology across the tax lifecycle by analyzing existing assets, assessing functionalities, and developing new technologies to replace outdated systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and enforce best practices and coding standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high-quality and consistent code.
- Collaborate effectively both independently and within a cross-functional team environment.
- Communicate clear instructions to team members and assist in managing daily operations.
- Maintain regular communication with the client to ensure alignment and project progress.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Python applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices.
- Optimize application performance and scalability, ensuring efficient data handling.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure application reliability and performance.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and workflows.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional development experience.
- Strong proficiency in web development with hands-on experience using the FastAPI framework.
- Practical experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) for solving real-world problems and developing agentic AI applications.
- Familiarity with multi-agent patterns and frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, Crew AI, and Google ADK.
- Experience using Pydantic for data validation and schema definition in Python applications.
- Skilled in asynchronous and parallel programming, with solid knowledge of asyncio.
- Proficiency in working with non-relational databases like MongoDB.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to balance standardized processes with flexibility to meet project goals effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of self-managing, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with Azure Cloud services, including SaaS offerings such as Service Bus, Data Lake, Blob Storage, and Redis.
- Familiarity with agentic protocols like MCP and A2A is a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience with the LangGraph stack, including long-term memory, human-in-the-loop workflows, and state management.
- Knowledge of .NET is considered a plus.
- Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation in scalable systems.
