Expert Python Engineer

Ciklum is seeking an Expert Python Engineer to join their team full-time in Pakistan. This role offers the opportunity to work on a digital transformation project for a leading global provider of audit, consulting, financial advisory, risk advisory, and tax services. The project focuses on evaluating and modernizing technology across the tax lifecycle by decomposing existing assets, assessing functionalities, and developing new technologies to replace legacy systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and enforce best practices and coding standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high-quality and consistent code.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional development team.
- Provide clear communication and guidance to team members, managing day-to-day operations effectively.
- Maintain regular communication with the client to ensure alignment and progress.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, robust Python applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices.
- Optimize code performance and scalability, ensuring efficient data handling.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure application reliability and performance.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation covering code, processes, and workflows.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional development experience.
- Strong proficiency in web development with hands-on experience using the FastAPI framework.
- Practical experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to address real-world problems and develop agentic AI applications.
- Familiarity with multi-agent patterns, frameworks, and approaches such as LangGraph, AutoGen, Crew AI, and Google ADK.
- Experience using Pydantic for data validation and schema definition in Python applications.
- Skilled in asynchronous and parallel programming, with solid knowledge of asyncio.
- Proficient in working with non-relational databases like MongoDB.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to balance standardized processes with flexibility to meet project goals effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of self-managing, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience with Azure Cloud services, including SaaS offerings such as Service Bus, Data Lake, Blob Storage, and Redis.
- Knowledge of agentic protocols like MCP and A2A is a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience with the LangGraph stack, including long-term memory, human-in-the-loop workflows, and state management.
- Familiarity with .NET technologies is considered a plus.
- Practical experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation in scalable systems.
