Based in Hyderabad, this position offers a competitive salary and an exciting opportunity to join EY’s Global Delivery Services (GDS) Data and Analytics team as an Azure Data Engineer specializing in Databricks. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy big data pipelines within Azure Cloud environments using Azure Cloud services.
- Design, develop, and migrate existing on-premises ETL routines to cloud-based solutions.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to understand business objectives and contribute effectively to project delivery.
- Optimize model codes to enhance execution speed and efficiency.
- Engage in all phases of the big data solution lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 4 to 8 years of industry experience.
- At least 4 years in IT, including a minimum of 2 years working hands-on with Azure Data Factory (ADF), preferably with the latest ADF versions.
- Strong proficiency in Databricks, PySpark, Python, and SQL Server.
- Experience with Azure Functions and Azure Synapse Analytics (formerly SQL Data Warehouse).
- Practical knowledge of Azure Data Lake and Blob storage for data storage solutions.
- Basic understanding of Batch Account configuration and control options.
- Ability to independently coordinate with business stakeholders, gather requirements, and implement solutions using ADF.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging both formally and informally.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take ownership of problem resolution.
