Facility Manager

The Facility Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive upkeep, security, staff supervision, and overall operational management of a private villa located in Lahore. This role requires a disciplined and accountable individual, ideally a retired officer or Honorary Captain from the Pakistan Navy or Pakistan Army, who can bring structured management experience to ensure the smooth daily functioning of the residence.

Key Responsibilities

Property & Facility Management:
Oversee the maintenance of the villa’s structural integrity along with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, generator, and other technical systems. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for repairs, servicing, and renovations. Maintain a detailed inventory of household assets, furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns and ensure the property remains in optimal condition.

Staff Supervision:
Manage and supervise all household staff, including guards, gardeners, drivers, and domestic workers. Prepare duty rosters, monitor attendance, and enforce discipline among the team. Recruit, train, and evaluate support staff as necessary to maintain high standards of service and efficiency.

Security & Safety:
Ensure the villa’s perimeter security, access control, and surveillance systems are fully operational. Liaise with private security agencies, guards, and local law enforcement when required. Conduct regular safety inspections and fire-risk assessments to safeguard the property and its occupants.

Administration & Budgeting:
Handle petty cash, utility bill payments, and vendor invoices with accuracy. Maintain comprehensive records and logs of expenses, submitting periodic reports to the property owner. Assist in budgeting for maintenance, upgrades, and household operational costs to ensure financial discipline.

Vendor & Compliance Management:
Negotiate contracts with utility providers, maintenance companies, and suppliers to secure favorable terms. Ensure compliance with local municipal regulations and utility requirements. Manage all documentation related to the property, including utility connections and service agreements.

Required Qualifications

- Retired officer or Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) from the Pakistan Navy or Pakistan Army is preferred.
- A minimum of 7 to 8 years of hands-on experience managing a private residence, villa, farmhouse, or estate.
- Proven expertise in staff supervision and vendor coordination.
- Strong knowledge of building systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and generators.
- Experience in implementing and managing security protocols for private residences.

Preferred Qualifications and Attributes

- Demonstrated leadership, discipline, and organizational skills typically developed through a military background.
- Excellent communication skills in both Urdu and English.
- Ability to remain calm and make decisive decisions under pressure.
- High level of integrity and discretion due to close proximity to a private household.
- Basic computer literacy for reporting and record-keeping, including proficiency in MS Excel and Word.

Compensation
The position offers a starting salary from Rs60,000 per month.
