We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team on a full-time, in-person basis. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates and bids. This position requires close collaboration with procurement, engineering, and project teams to ensure comprehensive and competitive pricing. The Estimator will also be responsible for maintaining detailed records and supporting budget management throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Study tender documents, drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and specifications to fully understand project requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, material take-offs, and pricing to support bid submissions.
- Coordinate effectively with procurement, engineering, and project teams to gather necessary information and align on project scope.
- Request, review, and evaluate quotations from vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Prepare both technical and commercial bid submissions in compliance with client requirements.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and assess associated risks to optimize project budgets.
- Maintain accurate estimation records and databases for future reference and audit purposes.
- Assist in budget preparation and provide support for cost control measures during project execution.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in cost estimation within the construction or engineering sectors.
- Strong ability to interpret tender documents, drawings, and BOQs accurately.
- Proficiency in preparing detailed cost estimates and material take-offs.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to evaluate vendor quotations critically and negotiate favorable terms.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain estimation records.
- Familiarity with budget preparation and cost control processes during project execution.
