Karachi Public School – Gulzar-e-Hijri Campus is looking for a qualified and passionate female Science Teacher to join its academic team. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills, with the ability to explain scientific concepts clearly and engage students through practical examples and activities. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and academic standards.
- Teach scientific concepts clearly using relevant examples, demonstrations, and interactive classroom activities.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, quizzes, tests, and examination papers.
- Conduct and supervise practical activities and science experiments as required.
- Assess students’ academic performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive, conducive learning atmosphere.
- Monitor student progress and offer additional support to those needing assistance.
- Keep accurate records of attendance, assessments, marks, and academic progress.
- Prepare students for school examinations and other academic assessments.
- Collaborate with academic staff, subject coordinators, and school management regarding curriculum progress and student performance.
- Participate in school meetings, examinations, academic activities, and other assigned responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or M.Ed. qualification is considered an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Science subjects and fundamental scientific concepts.
- Excellent classroom management and teaching skills.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, simple, and student-friendly manner.
- Responsible, punctual, organized, and committed to students’ academic development.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred; however, fresh candidates with strong subject knowledge and teaching aptitude are encouraged to apply.
