This role focuses on achieving exceptional customer satisfaction by efficiently planning, organizing, supervising, and participating in daily warehouse operations. The position involves managing the safe receipt, retrieval, and timely dispatch of finished goods while adhering to health, safety, FEFO (First Expired, First Out) standards, and strict inventory control. Compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and AIB standards is essential to maintain operational excellence and accuracy in record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure peak warehouse efficiency by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse staff, while setting and monitoring operational goals focused on customer satisfaction.
- Develop and optimize warehouse systems, including product handling, storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping operations.
- Oversee effective use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for both inbound and outbound activities.
- Monitor labor utilization and deliver targeted Case Per Man Hour (CPMH) metrics.
- Calculate and ensure achievement of On-Time In-Full (OTIF) and Cost Freight Ratio (CFR) targets; conduct detailed analyses and implement corrective actions aligned with Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Manage daily operations with a focus on inventory control and logistics management.
- Plan and review workflows, staffing, space allocation, and equipment layout to maintain productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing standards and procedures in line with company policies.
- Execute daily distributor-wise dispatch plans based on precise average requirements.
- Share daily outbound reports with stakeholders to keep them informed of finished goods warehouse (FGWH) operations.
- Ensure distributors’ orders are fulfilled according to FEFO principles and dispatch timelines.
- Implement food defense system requirements to achieve AIB scores above 900.
- Optimize labor headcount and warehouse storage to manage costs within FGWH AOP.
- Maintain a comprehensive inventory management system to prevent SKU mixing and minimize monthly stock discrepancies.
- Innovate new working methods to reduce workload and overtime.
- Conduct 100% timely weekly and monthly line walks to identify safety opportunities and reinforce safety culture.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse employees, assigning workloads effectively.
- Ensure efficient use and compliance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) through audits and preventive maintenance coordination with OEMs.
- Promote and enforce safe work practices, EHS procedures, and desired behaviors; immediately address unsafe actions.
- Understand job-related hazards and environmental impacts, applying necessary control measures.
- Foster a positive attitude towards Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and maintain open communication with employees.
- Remove obstacles to safe working conditions and demonstrate safe behavior consistently.
- Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health & Safety and regulatory requirements as per company standards.
- Report all hazards, accidents, injuries, emergencies, and related incidents promptly.
- Perform any additional tasks or projects assigned by the Line Manager.
- Ensure adherence to HSE rules and procedures in line with company safety policies.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Business Administration or a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and management principles.
- Proficiency in warehouse software applications, including SAP, and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of food safety standards and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols.
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in Finished Goods Warehousing within the FMCG sector.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in warehousing.
- Experience in stock reconciliation and cycle count posting.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to retrieve, analyze, and present data effectively.
- Proven people management skills.
