Field Associate - Recycling Sector

CircularXchange is a UK-registered B2B marketplace and traceability platform focused on pre-consumer textile waste and recycled materials. The company connects textile recyclers in Pakistan with fashion brands and buyers in the UK and globally, enabling transparent trading and traceability of recycled materials. Currently, CircularXchange is expanding its presence in Faisalabad by building a local team to strengthen its network of recyclers across Punjab.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage textile recyclers and waste traders through phone, WhatsApp, and in-person visits.
- Conduct regular site visits to recycling units, mills, and waste traders to understand their operations and onboard them onto the platform.
- Create and maintain detailed profiles for recyclers on the platform, including business information, materials handled, capacity, and photographs.
- Ensure all recycler data is accurate and regularly updated.
- Assist recyclers in creating listings and provide guidance on how to use the platform effectively.
- Maintain clear records of contacts, visits, and follow-up actions.
- Gather market feedback and communicate insights to the teams based in the UK and Pakistan.
- Represent CircularXchange at industry events and association meetings when required.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, textiles, environmental sciences, engineering, or a related field.
- Residency in Faisalabad or nearby areas.
- Ability to travel independently to industrial zones for frequent site visits.
- Strong communication skills in Urdu and Punjabi for engaging with business owners, with working proficiency in English for internal communication.
- Well-organized, dependable, and diligent in following up on tasks.
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, Google Sheets or Excel, and quick to learn new digital tools.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Interest or background in textiles, recycling, or sustainability is highly desirable.
- This is a full-time, hybrid, and flexible role, typically involving about six hours of work per day. Time will be divided between field visits and remote tasks such as calls, follow-ups, and platform updates. The candidate will have autonomy to plan their schedule around visits.
