StormFiber/Cybernet, a leading telecommunications company under the Lakson Group, is seeking a dedicated Field Technician to join its Field Operations team in Multan. This full-time role is essential in delivering reliable fiber-optic connectivity to customers by performing installations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and service restoration. The Field Technician will work extensively with GPON/FTTH technology and related access network equipment, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction in the field.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, activation, testing, and maintenance of fiber-optic connectivity at customer premises.
- Install and configure access equipment such as Optical Network Terminals (ONTs), Access Points (APs), and HD Boxes.
- Conduct last-mile fiber-optic installation and maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer connectivity and service-related complaints on-site.
- Work with GPON/FTTH technology and associated access network devices.
- Conduct optical power and connectivity testing to identify faults and service issues.
- Identify, isolate, and resolve fiber and network faults within the assigned area.
- Ensure timely restoration of disrupted services while maintaining service quality standards.
- Carry out preventive maintenance of access infrastructure and customer-end equipment.
- Maintain and properly use assigned tools, testing equipment, safety gear, and technical instruments.
- Keep accurate records of installations, complaints, troubleshooting activities, and completed jobs.
- Coordinate with supervisors, Network Operations Center (NOC), customer support, and other technical teams for timely issue resolution.
- Follow all company-defined technical, safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Maintain professional communication and deliver a positive customer experience during field visits.
- Meet assigned productivity, quality, turnaround-time, and service restoration targets.

Required Qualifications
- Intermediate or Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronics, or a relevant technical discipline.
- 1–2 years of relevant field or telecommunication experience preferred; fresh candidates with relevant technical education will also be considered.
- Basic understanding of FTTH, fiber optics, GPON, and access networks.
- Hands-on familiarity with fiber/network testing tools is an advantage.
- Ability to perform technical troubleshooting at customer premises.
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness and ability to work outdoors and travel within the assigned service area.
- Comfortable working in a field-based environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and operational discipline.
- Flexibility to work during service disruptions or emergency situations, including outside regular hours.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with GPON/FTTH technologies and fiber-optic networks.
- Proficiency in using Optical Power Meter, PON Meter, OTDR, and related fiber testing equipment.
- Knowledge of ONT/ONU installation and fiber termination techniques.
- Understanding of fiber distribution and last-mile connectivity.
- Strong troubleshooting skills related to access networks.
