We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within a BPO or shared services environment. A strong understanding of U.S. accounting principles and retail transaction workflows is essential. This role is critical in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting audit activities, and driving continuous improvements in transaction operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Review, clean, and reconcile daily store transactions, including sales, refunds, fuel purchases, and inventory adjustments.
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks, handling journal entries, bank reconciliations, and expense categorization.
- Generate periodic financial reports, identify discrepancies, and provide actionable insights to enhance financial accuracy.
- Assist with internal audits by preparing necessary documentation and resolving transaction-level queries.
- Collaborate closely with U.S.-based finance teams to clarify transaction details and ensure compliance with corporate accounting standards.
- Identify inefficiencies in transaction workflows and recommend process improvements to streamline operations.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, CA, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within a BPO or shared services environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online or Desktop.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. accounting principles and retail transaction workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for working with cross-border teams.
- Experience working with U.S. clients in the retail or fuel industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory reconciliation processes.
- Understanding of sales tax and fuel tax reporting requirements.

Shift Timing

This position requires working from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time to align with U.S. business hours.
