We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within a BPO or shared services environment. A strong understanding of U.S. accounting principles and retail transaction workflows is essential. This role is crucial for maintaining financial accuracy, supporting audit processes, and driving continuous improvements in transaction operations.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Processing & Reconciliation:
- Review, clean, and reconcile daily store transactions, including sales, refunds, fuel purchases, and inventory adjustments.
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks, handling journal entries, bank reconciliations, and expense categorization.
- Generate periodic financial reports, identify discrepancies, and provide actionable insights to enhance financial accuracy.

Audit & Compliance Support:
- Assist with internal audits by preparing necessary documentation and resolving transaction-level queries.
- Collaborate closely with U.S.-based finance teams to clarify transaction details and ensure compliance with corporate accounting standards.

Process Improvement:
- Identify inefficiencies within transaction workflows and recommend improvements to streamline operations.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA/CA, or a related field.
- Minimum of 0.5 to 1 year of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in a BPO or shared services environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online or Desktop.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. accounting principles and retail transaction workflows.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for cross-border collaboration.
- Experience working with U.S. clients in the retail or fuel industries.
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory reconciliation processes.
- Understanding of sales tax and fuel tax reporting requirements.

Shift Timing:
The position requires working hours from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time.
